Official YouTube App is Now Available for Windows Phones

Few months ago, Microsoft has given us a proper YouTube app for Windows Phone 8 that has almost everything you need. Not that you can watch videos but you can also manage your account, access your subscriptions, like, comment on videos and most of all you can download it straight to your handset. 

Unfortunately, this has raised Google’s eyebrows and requested to pull out the app from the Windows Store. They also complained that the YouTube app by Microsoft blocks any ads on videos. The app was pulled out from the store but Microsoft and YouTube team promised to work on a more improved app that both parties will agree.

You can pin videos, playlists, channels and even search queries to the Start screen as Live Tiles. Live Tiles flip to show YouTube’s most popular videos or your subscriptions’ latest uploads. YouTube for Windows Phone is also integrated with Kid’s Corner, so you can help ensure that your kids are watching age-appropriate videos.
