Windows Phone 8.1 Now Being Tested

AdDuplex has been one of the reliable source in terms of Windows Phone market share of different Microsoft partners and software releases. Apparently, they recently posted on their twitter account that they have seen devices being tested on Windows Phone 8.1, mainly on the Nokia P4301 test device also on the Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC 8X.
The Windows Phone 8.1 aka Windows Blue, said to be the upcoming update for the Windows Phone 8 OS. It is rumored to have the Internet Explorer 11 on-board but could also be just the GDR2 update since it’s just a minor change on the version number.
It was told that WP 8.1 is only rumored for release after the GDR2 and GDR3 updates being deployed, should come out sometime this year.
GDR2 should bring features like the sleeping screen (seen on Symbian and Nokia N9) and better camera UI (something that could work for the EOS). While the GDR3 will deliver support for 1080p resolution and multiple cores. But what also interests me is the Nokia P4301 device, sounds like a powerful device in the works. We are all so excited on the development of Windows Phone and its future. We’ll keep you posted for more updates.
