Video Filtering with Windows Phones

Most photography and photo editing apps in the Windows Phone today offers the use of filters to enhance images taken by our camera phones, such as Phototastic, Fantasia Painter, PhotoFunia, and Pixl. Filters are applied either for dramatic effect, improvement of photo aspects, or just pure fun! But have you ever tried adding filters to videos? Sounds exciting? Then, meet Vixl – the newest, cool video filtering app that had arrived in the Windows Marketplace!
From the makers of Pixl, a very good Flickr app, comes the new app that can make magically modify your videos through adding filter. Add a twist to your 20-second videos with its 14 unique filters, which include Lomo, Vignette, 8mm, and Black & White effects. Sharing is also allowed, bringing your masterpiece to Facebook and Flickr.

Other exciting features are bound to be added in the next app update, which will depend on your comments and suggestions. According to the app information, the app’s makers are working on adding sounds to videos, new filters, more websites to share, and a WP7 version! As a Lumia 900 owner, I’m excited for Vixl to finally be available for us.
